This week an exclusive Firefly investigation found that some suburban school districts lobbied lawmakers behind the scenes to keep barriers in place for families who want to transfer to a school outside of their zoned district. Polls show most voters support open enrollment policies.
Also this week, new Vanderbilt polling data shows U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn continues to hold consistent support from most voters and we're taking a closer look potential changes to how Tennessee provides financial incentives to institutions of higher learning for helping students succeed.
