This week our On the Fly podcast takes a look at one of the proposed public charter schools up for vote next week in Nashville. Former Tennessee Titan Kevin Dyson is seeking approval for a new charter high school called the Music City Academy. He joined us to talk about how the school would utilize the “unifying power of athletics.”
Having kids being able to move and use all their senses, not just sitting at the desk and watching a teacher audibly trying to learn, you've got to use all the senses and skills to help you get kids to learn.
