The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee is offering students more than 150 scholarship opportunities to apply for, but the application is only available for one more week.
The CFMT is a local nonprofit that connects donors with charitable organizations throughout Middle Tennessee and parts of Kentucky. Each year, the foundation administers approximately 160 scholarships to Middle Tennessee students pursuing higher education.
These scholarships are provided by individuals, companies, and civic groups, and they can all be applied for using a single application managed by CFMT. The scholarships cater to a variety of students and career choices, from those enrolling in a technical college to those entering a four-year university.
“There are many wonderful ways to give back, but seeing members of our community give to ensure students across Middle Tennessee can access education is, in my opinion, one of the best,” said Kelly Pietkiewicz, CFMT’s Scholarship Coordinator. “Education is the true key to so many successes in life, and our donors are making it possible for students from all walks of life.”
All scholarship applications are due February 1 at 11:59 pm central time in addition to any supporting materials required.
Students are encouraged to fill out the brief application that may qualify them for several scholarships.
